Programs

Four prepared environments, one continuous journey.

Children move through Willow Creek in three-year cycles. Each classroom is designed around what children at that age are driven to do, and each guide is trained specifically for that stage.

Toddler Community

Toddlers are driven to do things for themselves. Our community is built at their scale: low shelves, real tools, a kitchen where they prepare their own snack, and guides who wait instead of rushing in.

Primary

The classic Montessori classroom. Three-year-olds learn by watching five-year-olds; five-year-olds consolidate by teaching. Across three years children move from pouring and polishing to reading, writing, and four-digit arithmetic with the golden beads.

Lower Elementary

Elementary children want to know why. The year opens with the five Great Lessons, sweeping stories of the universe, life, humans, language, and numbers, and every subject grows out of the questions those stories provoke.

Small-group lessons with independent follow-up work and weekly work plans
Reading, grammar, and math meet or exceed Texas grade-level standards

Upper Elementary

Our oldest students run a real microeconomy, publish a school newspaper, and plan a week-long trip each spring. Academics deepen into algebra, formal essay writing, and lab science, and we prepare every child for a confident transition to middle school.

Student-led conferences and self-assessment three times a year
Middle-school transition support, including placement testing prep
Graduates attend public, charter, and independent middle schools across North Texas
